DR BOB - DETROIT, MI 1948 & HOME RECORDING 1947 This recording is rare. It is possibly the only recording of Doctor Bob's wife, Ann Smith. This is a very interesting CD. The first part is fairly short but it gives you a look into the Smith household in the 1940s. This part of this recording was made in 1947 at Dr Bob's house in Akron, Ohio by the Smith family. It was recorded as an audio message to Bill and Lois Wilson. The people on this part of the recording are: Dr Bob, his wife, Ann, Dr Bob's Son, Smitty, and Smitty's wife, Betty. The second part of this CD, and the larger part of it, is a talk Dr Bob gave the very next year in Detroit, Michigan. He talks about the early days of AA, Bill Wilson, and the formation of Alcoholics Anonymous. Contents - 15 Tracks Length - 52 Minutes |
