BILL WILSON - TRADITIONS TALK ST LOUIS, MO JULY 1955

This recording was made at the 1955 AA Convention in St. Louis, Missouri. On this recording, Bill Wilson tells how each of the 12 Traditions came about, and how they work to maintain AA unity and service. Many of the stories are funny as he is telling them but were very troubling at the time they occurred. This is a good example of Bill not taking himself too seriously and how trouble properly dealt with can bring about great good. A good bit of AA history is also touched upon as some of the pivotal moments are discussed in light of the traditions that came about as a result of them. There are also insights into proper attitudes and how the AA program is meant to be lived.
