BILL WILSON - NEW YORK, NY DECEMBER 1953 Bill Wilson recorded this Alcoholics Anonymous talk at the Manhattan Group's Christmas party in December of 1953. In this talk he speaks about AA, "From Kitchen Table to Rosary Hall's First Anniversary." Bill tells this relatively small group about how he drunkenly "testified" at Sam Shoemaker's church in his early days with the Oxford Group. He talks about his lack of success with New York drunks before eventually getting advice from Dr Silkworth. Bill says that a week ago he had attended an anniversary celebration at Rosary Hall in Charity Hospital in Cleveland. He says that between the time Sister Ignatia and Dr Bob treated Bill Dotson in the Flower Room in St Thomas Hospital in Akron to the time Dr Bob passed away, this "Rare Pair" treated over 5,000 alcoholics.
